The government owns part of you

You ask, “Why does the government fine me for not wearing a seatbelt? Isn’t that a personal decision?” Well, it would be if you were injured and paid your own hospital bills. But what if the government pays your hospital bills? Essentially, your health and thus a little part of yourself is owned by the government.
